As for condition, I'd say these are VF/VF+ on average. The first dozen or so probably average a bit under VF-, while the rest are closer to NM- on average. There are no stinkers, just don't expect flawless or uniformly NM copies. I notice that #18 is probably more like Fine. This is a very decent set overall, with most of the copies being very solid, but nothing you'd want to get graded. I am not a professional grader, nor am I the original owner, so see pictures. I store my comic lots in wider-than-average comic bags, multiple comics per bag.
