Stramonio V Perfume by V Canto, Named for the sweet-smelling but poisonous devil’s snare, Stramonio V is an irresistibly alluring balsamic amber musk enhanced by persuasive florals and sumptuous, exotic wood. The opening is a soothing and sensual floral effusion of jasmine, precious orchid and fresh carnation mingled with sued-soft saffron. The fragrance gains strength and intensity at the heart, merging rich, expressive ambergris with velvet undertones of vanilla and rose musk. Base notes of earthy-sweet red patchouli, ebony, oakmoss and musk produce a final, lingering embrace of warm woody floralcy.Originally launched in 2019, this subtly animalic floral musk belongs to the Red Collection by the Italian label V Canto. This fatally seductive series was inspired by the notorious intrigues of Lucrezia Borgia. Other compositions in the collection include the tropical sweet and fresh Stricnina (2017), the citrus woody aromatic Mandragola (2016), the white floral oriental Lucrethia (2016) and the citrus rose musk Cicuta (2016).
