Mexican/French (1940 - )mother was French and his father a Mexican diplomat. His training was at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He presented his first solo exhibition at the Salon de la Plástica Mexicana in 1963 and in 1965 he began exhibiting in New York. His work has been presented in important venues such as the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City and other museums in the United States, France and Latin America. In 1964 she was commissioned to paint the mural "Luz del Norte" in the room "Cultures of the North" of the National Museum of Anthropology. She is considered one of the protagonists of the movement of the Rupture.
