Rare wax from the Auto Racing set issued in Australia. One of the few (or only) Auto Racing sets issued in a wax wrapper with a stick of bubble gum, similar to all the great Topps sets of the time period.
Included prominent racing drivers in various race classes, who featured in Australian competitions of the era. Included several Formula 1 drivers of the period such and Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Niki Lauda, Nigel Mansell, Eddie Cheevers, Keke Rosberg and others. There are technically 3 Senna RC’s in this set (2 named, 1 with car pictured). While 1984 was his first year in F1, this set is the earliest traditional trading card of Senna.
Great piece for a trading card display box, wax collector, or companion piece for a set or Formula 1 collector.
