Elegant vintage uranium glass compote, attributed to Tiffin Glass Co., c. 1930s–40s. Measures approx. 5½” tall x 8⅓” wide at the opening.
Features:
•Clear optic panel bowl with deep vertical ribbing (cut/pressed style)
•Wide gold encrusted floral rim (acid-etched + encrusted design)
•Strong uranium glow: brilliant chartreuse under 365 UV/blacklight
•Foot is flat and polished, consistent with American elegant glass
✨ Note for collectors: This piece fluoresces a vivid green/yellow under UV light, confirming uranium oxide content, highly collectible and visually striking.
Condition: No chips, cracks, or repairs. Gold band remains strong overall with one small area of light wear (see close-up).
