Authentic vintage Gerz stoneware beer stein made in West Germany between 1960–1975, featuring detailed relief scenes of Munich landmarks including the Münchner Kindl (Munich Monk) and the Frauenkirche Cathedral. This collectible piece has a hand-painted raised design, rich cobalt blue and tan glaze, and a solid cast pewter domed lid with ornate engraving. The handle mimics carved woodgrain — a hallmark of Gerz’s mid-century Bavarian series.

The original “GERZ W. GERMANY” triangular foil label and impressed maker’s mark remain on the base, confirming its authentic vintage origin (pre-1990 reunification). This is not a modern reproduction — it’s a genuine mid-century stein crafted in the historic Westerwald region, famous for German pottery.

Perfect for collectors, beer enthusiasts, or rustic European décor.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light age patina on the pewter lid. No chips or cracks.
Height: Approx. 9 in. (23 cm)
Material: Stoneware with pewter lid
