Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist Set was a 1998 sticker card set created by Marusho Co., Ltd. who obtained a licence to create Yu-Gi-Oh! products from Toei Animation. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist Sticker Set was one of four Yu-Gi-Oh! card series/sets released before Konami obtained exclusive rights to the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand in the late 1990s. Despite the set not being created by Bandai, it, and other sets like it are often called Bandai era cards by Japanese collectors and Yu-Gi-Oh! enthusiasts. Inside each pack were ten sticker cards, the stickers had a hard backing, meaning they could also be used like regular cards.
